Altars of Tumalid
A downloadable game for Windows
"Tumalid? Sure, I've heard the name. Reclaim those lands? Impossible, you can't clean a body of pox any more than you could restore hope to such a damned place."
Make your way through the foggy and ever-changing wastelands of Tumalid in an attempt to restore the altars of the patron saints and their divine light. Maneuver through a land forgotten by civilized man and its dangers as a warrior priest called to bring holy order back to these lands.
This is my very first game ever made and as such I would encourage any who play to leave their thoughts, reviews, constructive criticism, etc. below in the comments for feedback.
It is also worth mentioning that there are 5 different endings within the game
A few issues or things I didn't get to add:
1. The second part of the main quest may feel a little empty where I planned to add fightable enemies but as I leave for boot camp in less than two weeks at the time of writing this, I abandoned working on a combat system in fear of implementing a rushed and less-than-ideal system that made the game worse.
2. Some parts of the terrain can be hard to climb at times but repeatedly clicking jump usually solves this issue.
3. The way the lighting and fog reacts with things in the far distance (mountains), can make them look extraordinarily bright. I could find no way of solving this issue no matter how hard I tried that didn't break the game so I left it as is.
4. This one isn't a massive issue but some trees are missing their colliders.

Great exploration and interesting atmosphere. The map has many things to find beside altars and the other characters are fun to talk to.
This was a cool game. The graphics give off a sick classic look and I really like the different endings.
Nicely atmospheric and a good experience for a first game! Well done!
